Yousuf Gaffar, M.D., is a physician specializing in hematology and medical oncology. For almost 20 years, he has devoted his career to enhancing cancer treatment through individualized patient care and precision research.
Dr. Gaffar’s passion lies in translating the ever-evolving advancements in oncology and hematology into real-world solutions for his patients. Educational Journey and Medical Training
Dr. Gaffar obtained his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Saba University School of Medicine. He would complete his residency at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he doubled up as Chief Resident.
His passion for cancer research and treatment propelled him to pursue a fellowship program in Medical Oncology and Hematology at USF-Moffitt Cancer Center, a reputed center for cancer research and care. During the program, he led special research in Genitourinary (GU) and Senior Adult oncology to further refine his expertise.
Dr. Gaffar is board-certified in hematology and medical oncology, a feat that keeps him at the forefront of the field. He continually updates his knowledge with the latest treatments available to provide the best possible care to his patients.
